Festival Event Areas

The Art Show

Held under the “Big Tent” at the Festival, the Art Show displays the fine art of over 100 regional and national artists selected for the Show by the Festival jury.

Artists’ Marketplace

Located just outside the Art Show tent, this event area has a wide selection of arts and crafts exhibited by artists of all media. Artists’ Marketplace also features one of the 5 performance stages at the Festival: Acoustic Corner, a venue for a diverse group of Boulder singers & songwriters, musicians, dancers, and performers.

Boulder Creek Bazaar

Merchants display and sell a collage of crafts, imports, products, and services. The Bazaar also features the Main Food Court, a beer garden, and the ever-popular Community Dance Stage.

Boulder’s Outdoor Adventures in Creek Fest West

Boulder is the pinnacle of the outdoor lifestyle! This event area, formerly known as “Outdoor Boulder”, consists of various organizations, services and equipment geared toward Boulder’s active, fitness-oriented community.  Located along the Boulder Creek and right off 9th Street, this event area is the westermost gateway to the Boulder Creek Festival and features exhibitors, carnival-type attractions at the corner of 9th Street & Canyon, and the Starting Line for the Great Rubber Duck Race (which takes place on Monday, May 25 at 4pm).

Central Park Commons

A varied assortment of artists, merchants, and organizations situated between the Bandshell and the creek in Boulder’s favorite park. This section of the Festival offers something for everyone!

Kids’ Place

In this event area dedicated to children, exhibitors are encouraged to host hands-on activities and games in addition to displaying their products and services at their booths. Kids’ Place also features a stage featuring children’s entertainment.

Spirit of Boulder

Boulder is traditionally known for its progressive viewpoints and alternative lifestyles. This event area, formerly known as “Body & Mind” and “Earthkeeping”, celebrates the nontraditional approach to healthy living and environmental preservation by providing educational information and resources.

Teen Creek Fest

The area of the Festival where our communities’ teens have the opportunity to organize their own activities and events. Teen Creek Fest features three days of musical ventures, performances, a young artists’ tent, and booths with beneficial information for teens and adults alike. With the help of the YMCA of Boulder Valley, this area is organized by the teen advisory board (”TAB”), a group of ten local teenagers volunteering from various schools in the area.

Thirteenth Street South

On Saturday, May 29, this area will feature the Boulder County Farmer’s Market until 2pm. After the Farmer’s Market closes on Saturday, Thirteenth Street South will include a variety of arts & crafts vendors, organizations, and merchants from the Boulder Creek Festival.
