THE GREAT ZUCCHINI RACE
A Hometown Fair original! Children of all ages design and decorate giant zucchinis—complete with wheels—and race their creations down the Great Zucchini Race ramp. Winners in each heat receive a prize!
All weekend long from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Children’s Area at the Hometown Fair (on the Boulder Municipal Building lawn)
Big Wheel 500
Start your engines! This is a chance for kids to show off their Big Wheel skills by racing 300 feet right down the center of the Hometown Fair. Several different heats will give children of all ages the opportunity to participate with different age groups.
Sunday, Sept. 5th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on the Municipal Building Lawn

A tradition at fairs of all kinds, and we’re no exception! Do you have what it takes to win a pie-eating contest? Come show us what you’ve got! Don’t forget to bring your camera– and your appetite!
