The Boulder Creek Hometown Fair is split into 2 distinct event areas known as HOMETOWN FAIR EAST and HOMETOWN FAIR WEST:
Hometown Fair East
This event area, east of Broadway, includes the Bandshell performance stage, beer garden & food court, and a variety of vendors on the north & south side of the Boulder Creek in Central Park. Also included are Special Events such as the Classic Car Show and 14th Annual Chili Inferno Cook-Off.
Boulder Creek Events is also excited to announce our continued efforts to make our events Zero Waste events! At the Hometown Fair this year, we have a dedicated “Green Zone” with reusable, compostable, and recyclable materials, as well as Zero Waste stations supported by volunteer staff. Help us make Boulder a little greener in the 13th Street Food Court!

Hometown Fair West
On the west side of Broadway, on the Municipal Building lawn, you will find the Sports & Kids Expo, featuring the latest in sports-related gear, technology & equipment, with demos and interactive attractions such as a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, obstacle course, and cycling competition, to name a few. Special Events include the infamous Great Zucchini Race, Big Wheel 300, pie-eating contests, and the 2nd Annual Family, Fun & Fitness 5K. There’s also a West Side Performance Area on the far west side of the Muni Bldg. lawn, next to the old Boulder Public Library: on Saturday, there’s performances for kids; Sunday: Community Dance Stage; Monday: interactive demos from the Sports Expo. There’s always something for everyone at the Hometown Fair!
