- Where is WinterSkate at FlatIron Crossing located?
- WinterSkate is located at the FlatIron Crossing mall: One West FlatIron Crossing Drive, Broomfield. The rink is located in the Village, next to Bloom and Street Legal Pizza. For more information, please visit www.flatironcrossing.com
- How do I get to WinterSkate at FlatIron Crossing?
- From Boulder:
Exit U.S. 36 at West FlatIron Circle ramp for direct access, or, take Hwy. 93 to Hwy. 128. Go east to Interlocken Loop, turn left down the hill to FlatIron Crossing. - From Denver:
Exit U.S. 36 at East FlatIron Circle ramp for direct access. - From Longmont, Lafayette:
Take Hwy. 287 to U.S. 36 W. Exit at the East FlatIron Circle Exit. - From Ft. Collins and Greeley:
Take I-25 South toward Denver. 1/4 mile past SR7 exit onto Northwest Parkway toward Broomfield (same exit as E-470). Follow signs toward Broomfield and 96th Street. Northwest Parkway will end at 96th Street. Continue on 96th Street. Cross over U.S. 36 and enter into FlatIron Crossing on your right. Toll is $2 each way. - From Arvada and Westminster:
Take Indiana St. or take Wadsworth to 128. Turn left onto 128 at the light across from the RTD Park-n-Ride. Continue to Interlocken Loop (PAST INTERLOCKEN CIRCLE). Turn right onto Interlocken Loop. FlatIron Crossing will be on your left before you reach U.S. 36. - From the Mountain Communities:
Take I-70 heading East to I-25. Take I-25 to U.S. 36. Exit at the West FlatIron Circle Exit.
Is WinterSkate open on holidays?
- WinterSkate will be open on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. The rink will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
- How much does it cost to skate?
- Adults: $5.00
- Kids (ages 4-12): $4.00
- Children (ages 3 & under): Free Admission
- Senior Citizens: $3.00
- How long is each skate session?
- You may skate as long as you like for one flat fee
- Can I bring my own skates?
- Absolutely!
- Can I rent skates?
- Yes: skate rentals are available for all sizes.
- How much does it cost to rent skates?
- Skate rental costs $3.00.
- Where can I buy skates?
- Ice skates may be purchased within FlatIron Crossing at Dick’s Sporting Goods and other retailers.
- Can I get skate lessons?
- Skate instructors are available for private lessons for both figure skating and hockey lessons. For more information, please contact the WinterSkate rink or the Boulder Creek Events office.
- Can I play hockey at the rink?
- Hockey is not permitted at the rink during regular hours
- Are children’s skates available?
- Double-runner skates are available for the littlest skaters at WinterSkate.
- Can I skate, leave, and then come back to skate more?
- While you are free to skate as long as you would like, if you decide to leave the rink you must pay again if you would like to come back and skate more.
- Does WinterSkate offer frequent skater passes or punchcards?
- Season punch cards are available at the WinterSkate kiosk. Punch cards can be purchased for 10 sessions ($35) or 20 sessions ($65), skate rental not included, and are valid at both WinterSkate rinks.
- Can I buy gift certificates for WinterSkate?
- Gift certificates are also available at the WinterSkate kiosk, and may be purchased for any value. You may also email the Boulder Creek Events office at info@bouldercreekevents.com to purchase gift certificates and pass books and they can be mailed directly to you.
