Event Areas

The Boulder Creek Festival® is divided up into different event areas, each complete with their own themes, exhibitor booths, event managers, and often with their own stages. Click on the area title for the corresponding map for the 2018 BCF:

The Art Show

Held under the “Big Tent” at the Festival, the Art Show displays the fine art of regional and national artists selected for the Show by the Festival jury.

Artists’ Marketplace

Located just outside the Art Show tents, this event area has a wide selection of arts and crafts exhibited by artists of all media.

Festival Square

Merchants display and sell a collage of crafts, imports, products, and services. Festival Square also features a food court, a beer garden, and The Festival Stage, a venue for a diverse group of Boulder singers & songwriters, musicians, dancers, and performers.

Central Park Commons

A varied assortment of artists, merchants, and organizations situated between the Bandshell and the creek in Boulder’s favorite park. This section of the Festival offers something for everyone, including lots of free samples!

Kids’ Place

In this event area dedicated to children, exhibitors are encouraged to host hands-on activities and games in addition to displaying their products and services at their booths. This area also features attractions for small children and an interactive LEGO exhibit.

Spirit of Boulder

Boulder is traditionally known for its progressive viewpoints and alternative lifestyles. This event area celebrates the nontraditional approach to healthy living and environmental preservation by providing educational information and resources in the different booths. Also featuring the popular Rocky Mountain Raptor Program and Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue exhibits!

Broadway Plaza

Located on the southwest corner of Broadway & Canyon, this event area features a variety of festival booths, attractions, and the BCF Bike Corral on the Sister City Plaza.

Teen Creek Fest (Sunday only)

The area of the Festival where our community’s teens have the opportunity to organize their own activities and events! Adjacent to the Dushanbe Tea House, Teen Creek Fest features music, dance, arts, and theater, including a Battle of the Bands and Singers & Songwriters competition on Sunday. With the help of several local businesses, this area is organized by a Teen Advisory Board made up of local volunteers from area schools.  Visit www.teencreekfest.com for more information!

Thirteenth Street South (Sunday & Monday only)

On Saturday, May 26th, this area will feature the Boulder County Farmers’ Market until 2pm.  After the Farmer’s Market closes on Saturday, Thirteenth Street South will feature festival booths and attractions.
